Bella Ciao HRH became the best selling horse in the 2026 Hanoverin Summer Sales auction for which the bidding concluded on 20 June 2026.

Copying a format that the Oldenburg Verband experimented with as first major breeding society in Germany, the Hanoverian Verband also offered the "buy now" option as well as kept the horses in their home stable for try-outs.

A collection of 45 horses was on offer and 44   found new owners either with the “buy now” option or on the final day of the auction. The horses could be test-ridden either at a central presentation in Verden or at their home stables.

The 10-year old small tour horse Bella Ciao HRH (by Bernay x Destano), purchased by Frauke Berner in the November 2020 auction, now sold for 37,000 euro to Hungary.

Sir Toby M (by Springbank II x Wolkenstein II) sold for 33,000 euro, while Feingold (by Feinrich x Carry Gold) fetched 24,000 euro. The 5-year old Franz (by Franziskus x Sir Donnerhall) went for 21,000 euro. Fee (by Furst Samarant x Royal Diamond) and Silent Glory (by Scolari x Weltmeyer) both sold for 20,500 euro.

A Greek client pair 18,000 euro for Johnny's Fair Deal SF (by Johnny Depp x Don Primero). In My Dreams HB (by In My Mind x Bon Coeur) goes to the USA for 15,500 euro. An Italian bought Dream on Fire (by Danone x Fidertanz) for 10,500 euro. Harris (by Helium x De Niro) goes to the Ukraine for 9,500 euro.

A buyer from California secured Farruca De (by For Romance II x Ravallo) for 30,000 euro in the buy now option.

A total of 13 horses were sold via "Buy Now" in the price range of 11,000 to 30,000 euro before the final bid-up.
