Grey's Greenflag becale the best selling foal at the first Westfalian foal auction held at the Beckmann Stallion Station on 19 June 2026

A collection of 24 foals was auctioned.

The bay colt Grey's Greenflag (by Grey Tonic x Sir Heinrich) was the top seller and sold for 70,000 euro to Judith Köppel of 360 ° Sportpferde, who already owns sire Grey Tonic. Köppel bought a further two foals in this auction.

The second most expensive one was Bester Peter (by Benicio x Sandro Hit) which fetched 29,000 euro and moves to The Netherlands. Sternschnuppe (by Secret x Jameson) sold for 22,000 euro, G-Force K (by Grey Tonic Feinrich) for 20,000 euro. 

Entertain Me MB (by Entertainer Number One x Don Nobless) and Volverine WB (by Vuelt x Las Vegas) sold for 16,000 euro. Gocavea MN (by Grey Tonic x Valverde) went for 13,000 euro, Spotlight (by Security x Ehrenstolz) and Voltemade (by Von und Zu x Benicio) for 11,500 euro. 

Five foals sold for 11,000 euro, three of them were dressage bred: Samy Deluxe (by Security x Valdiviani), Finest Melody (by Fanegro x Sandro Hit), Violrella W (by Von undZu x For Romance).

Three riding pony foals by stallions from the partner station AT Schurf were also offered in this auction. All three found new owners for an average price of 11,333 euro. The highest-priced riding pony foal was Destino (by Denim AT x Merlin). He sold to British buyers for 19,500 euro.

The average price for a foal in this auction was 15,619 euro, far above the going current market standard.
