The Danish equestrian federation has decided to send a potential WEG team to the CDIO Falsterbo on 8 - 12 July 2026 as a final dress rehearsal before the World Championships in Aachen.
Danish team trainer Wolfram Wittig opted for Falsterbo instead of another head-to-head with the German elite at the CDIO Hagen one weekend earlier.
Falsterbo is the final leg of the 2026 FEI Nations Cup series.
Danish team for Falsterbo:
- Anna Zibrandtsen - Quel Filou
- Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour - Mount St. John Freestyle
- Daniel Bachmann Andersen - Flash Gordon
- Nadja Aabo Sloth - Favour Gersdorf
Six riders in total have been short-listed for WEG team selection, based on their results the past six months. They are:
- Anna Zibrandtsen - Quel Filou
- Carina Cassøe Krüth - Heiline's Danciera
- Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour - Mount St. John Freestyle
- Daniel Bachmann Andersen - Flash Gordon
- Karoline Rohmann - Jakas Don Louvre
- Nadja Aabo Sloth - Favour Gersdorf
"We have seen a stable and high performance curve among the selected riders over the recent period, and this gives us a strong starting point for both the Nations Cup and the upcoming championships," says elite sports manager Susie Dannemand.
The nominative entries for the World Championships need to be set on 6 July.
