This afternoon the second edition of the CDIO Lier kicks off at equestrian centre Het Azelhof in Belgium. While I had perfectly planned my day - wake up early to do some work, go to the gym, and then head out to Lier to photograph the first part of the 55-rider Prix St Georges test -- I ended up being stuck behind the computer in my gym clothes with no work-out done. Instead I stuffed my face with four sugar-filled cookies while finishing writing articles before my one-hour drive to Lier. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Sigh...
I often prepare more photos than I end up using in articles and have a folder on my desktop called "Photo Gallery Behind", meaning "never posted pictures". One of the folders in there is from Lier in 2025 so let's post them now as a throwback in preparation of this weekend's CDIO 5*. The weather forecast is brilliant with the first summer weather and temperatures announced. Oh, I got 12 more such folders prepared.. One day they'll come online...
