Eqwo reported that Uschi Barth has resigned from her position as Technical Advisor for dressage at the Austrian Equestrian Federation (OEPS).
Her sudden decision follows just days after the election of the new OEPS president, Herbert Gugganig, who beat long-time president Elisabeth Max-Theurer in a shocking vote.
Barth has served as the official director of the dressage department or "Dressurreferentin" since February 2025, succeeding Diana Wunschek. Before that she operated regularly as chef d'equipe and team veterinarian.
Barth is a highly respected veterinarian by profession and includes Austrian Olympian Victoria Max-Theurer amongst her clients.
The new OEPS board of directors will be filling this vacant role soon with a new expert.
