The 8-year old small tour horse Next Romance became the best selling horse of the first Dutch Dressage Traders auction for which the online bidding closed on 2 April 2026.
A collection of 12 sport horses from young horse to S-level trained was offered for sale by a group of Dutch horse traders, including Rom Vermunt, Gert Jan van Olst, Jeroen Witte, Marcel van Manen, Diederik van Silfhout, Jorg van Os, Peter Wetzelaer, Sjoerd van Leeuwen and Sjaak van der Lei.
Next Romance (by For Romance x Havel - pictured on top) avhieved the highest price of 44,000 euro and sold to France.
The second most expensive horse was the 3-year old stallioN Thunder Groll (by Nalegro x Glamourdale) for which Americans paid 36,000 euro.
The 3-year old Taycan (by Vaderland x Benicio) stays in The Netherlands for 20,000 euro. An Austrian bought Sara Michaella BB (by Kyton x Davino VOD) for 15,000 euro.
Moving to France is also T-Boy (by Nalegro x Chippendale) for 13,000 euro, while a Brit bought Vjento d'Hillco (by Kjento x Fernando Torres) for 11,000 euro. Tonic (by Nashville Star x Iconic B) goes to the USA for 9,000 euro, just like Tough Boy (by Escaneno x Ampere) for 9,500 euro.
