Show Chic Welcomes New Experts
Show Chic has added Boy de Winter to its subscription platform, giving riders access to one of the sport’s most experienced freestyle specialists.
For over a decade, through Music & Motions, de Winter has built programs seen at the Olympic Games, FEI World Cup Finals, and European Championships.
Boy's approach is simple: start with the horse. Rhythm. Stride. Transitions. What is actually there, not what the rider wishes was there. From that the program is built with intention and scoring in mind. It’s a level most riders never reach and it shows.
"Too many freestyles fall apart the same way," Boy de Winter explained. "They have good horses and they are capable riders, but there is no structure. Their music is layered on top instead of built in."
Through Show Chic, subscribers can learn how to fix that. They can learn how to build a freestyle properly, how to refine what isn’t working, and how to understand what actually scores.
Not louder, not flashier, just better. "Because when it’s done right, freestyle isn’t just a performance, it’s a competitive edge," Boy added.
