Gestut Sprehe's 11-year old licensed stallion Dancier Gold has moved in training with Jessica von Bredow-Werndl in Aubenhausen, Germany.

Dancier Gold is a 2015 born Hanoverian stallion by Dancier out of Weltina (by Weltmeyer x Airport). He is bred by Georg Strübing.

Licensed

He was licensed as a breeding stallion at the 2017 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in Verden, where he sold for for 142,000 euro to Gestut Sprehe. He was approved for Oldenburg in 2018 and for Westfalen in 2019.

He did the 14-day suitability test in April 2018 and scored 7.88 in total with 8.25 points for dressage and 7.10 for jumping.  At his mandatory sport test in February 2019 he got 8.73 points and in his second sport test in Verden in March 2020 he scored 9.24 points.

So far he has 181 offspring registered for sport and breeding with the German Equestrian Federation and 8 of his sons are licensed, including Bundeschampionate finalist D'Egalité Gold (Borja Carrascosa).

Sport Career

Dancier Gold began his competition career as a rising 3-year old in January 2018 under Anna-Sophie Fiebelkorn. She took him to the Bundeschampionate, where they were 5th.

In 2019 and 2020 Simone Pearce showed him one time each year, while in 2021 they represented Australia at the World Young Horse Championships in Verden and placed 6th in the 6-year old finals.

Sabine Rüben took over the ride in 2022 and debuted him internationally at the CDI Samorin in the 7-year old tests, winning both. In 2023 she piloted him at two national shows and two internationals, in Samorin and Ornago, at small tour level. Dancier Gold did no shows in 2024, but returned in 2025 at national Grand Prix level for seven shows.

Dancier Gold has now moved in training with Jessica von Bredow-Werndl as an extra iron in the fire.

"They really fit together, they look amazing," Sabine Rueben told Eurodressage.

Dancier Gold is now Jessica's second Grand Prix horse alongside Times Kismet, whom she debuted at internationally last weekend in Ornago, where they scored 66.261% in the Grand Priw to place 7th and won the Special with 73.234%. After the untimely passing of Diallo and the recent sale of Got It BB, Kismet and Dancier Gold are the two Grand Prix horses she will take into the 2026 outdoor show season.
