Former Danish Team Pony Lykkeholms Cyperb Gets New Rider

Lykkeholms Cyperb, Rikke Schoubye Johansen's 2023 Danish team pony, has found a new rider to continue his sport career.

Lykkeholms Cyperb is a 15-year old danish Sport Pony by Lukas out of Cassandra (by Maior Domus x ). He is bred by Janni Storgaard Madsen.

Young Pony Success

The chestnut pony was first competed by Matilde Trantoft Svanberg, who debuted him as a 4-year old in 2016. In 2017 the pair finished fifth at the Danish Young Pony Championships. Mathilde showed him through the spring of 2018.

Cyperb then moved on to his second rider; Silke Cicilia Rasmussen, who premiered him in July 2018 at LA2-level in Denmark. She showed him through October 2019.

International Pony

Cyperb sold to the Hilstrøm family for daughter Clara Sofie to ride. She rode her first competition in November 2019 and took Cyperb to his first international competition  in Exloo in October 2021.  They were 7th at the 2021 Danish Pony Championships.

Cyperb then sold as to Rikke Schoubye Johansen in the winter of 2021 - 2022.  The new duo debuted in January 2022 and went down the international centerline the first time at the CDI Kristiansand in Norway in April 2022. They were 15th at the 2022 Danish Pony Championships. The pair gained mileage at the CDI's in Aalborg, the 2022 Nordic Baltic Championships in Flyinge, Exloo, Le Mans, and Hagen before being nominated on the Danish team for the 2023 European Championships in Le Mans, where they were 7th in the Kur to Music and won team silver. 

Schoubye campaigned Cyperb through 2024 with starts in Aachen, Aalborg and Hagen but were named second reserve for the 2024 Danish European Championship team. They were fifth at the 2024 Danish Pony Championships. Rikke got nominated on her other pony, D'Artagnan, but was forced to withdraw before the championships. Cyperb's last CDI, so far, was the CDI Aachen Young Stars in December 2024. His last national show was in February 2025 in Hjallerup.

New Rider

Schoubye announced at the end of December 2025 that Cyperb has found a new rider, although his/her identity was not disclosed.
