The KWPN bred and German licensed stallion So Rafiq has been sold into Swiss ownership but the horse has moved to south Germany, where German squad rider Raphael Netz has taken over the ride.

So Rafiq is a 2021 born Dutch warmblood by So Perfect out of Kiki (by Glamourdale x Belissimo M x Ferro). He is bred by M. Pouwels

Licensed Stallion

Originally named Rafiq, the black stallion is from the same dam line as former international Grand Prix horse Zygrande Le Coupied (by Krack C x Ferro).

The stallion made it to the second phase of the 2024 KWPN Stallion Licensing but got rejected in Den Bosch. Owned by the company Haine Horse Care he did his shortened suitability test in Vechta in January 2025 under Robin Kleermans and scored 7.68 points. He got approved for Westfalen and Hanover that same month, and for Oldenburg in May 2025. His German licensing led to the stallion being renamed "So Rafiq".

Dutch Sharon Lübkeman first competed So Rafiq in a riding horse test in Mönchengladbach in June 2025 and scored 6.5 for 10th place. Haine, who has been troubled by financial woes according to regional Dutch press, sold the stallion six weeks ago.
