The United States P.R.E. Association (USPRE) is pleased to announce the launch of a new and expanded national dressage program, designed to better serve its growing membership and provide greater access to competitive opportunities across the country.
Following substantial growth since the introduction of its current dressage programs, USPRE has undertaken a comprehensive review of its offerings. The Dressage Committee, in collaboration with the Board of Directors, determined that the existing High-Point Series no longer fully reflects the national scope and needs of the organization.
As a result, USPRE is proud to introduce the USPRE Dressage Star Series, a regionalized competition format modeled after the former High-Point Series. This new program will offer identical competition opportunities across each of the nine regions defined by the United States Dressage Federation (USDF).
Through the Dressage Star Series, USPRE dressage riders will compete for Regional Champion and Reserve Champion honors within their respective regions. At the conclusion of the series, one Overall Grand Champion will be awarded across all regions.
CDI riders will also be recognized within the Dressage Star Series through a slightly modified format. Unlike the regional structure, CDI competitors will participate on a national level, ensuring appropriate recognition within international competition standards.
USPRE invites all members to explore and participate in this exciting new initiative, which will officially begin in 2026.
Please note that the existing COPA and High-Point Series programs will be discontinued at the conclusion of the 2025 competition year.
