Gentle van Wittenstein V, the 2025 European Children Championship silver medal winner, has been sold to Germany as a children schoolmaster.
Gentle van Wittenstein V is a 15-year old KWPN mare by Wittenstein out of Tjerra (by Krack C x Elcaro). She is bred by G. Vocking and was owned by Malka Prosman.
Prosman and Leijten
The mare was first competed in The Netherlands by owner Malka Prosman, including in the Pavo Cup qualifiers.
In 2023 Prosman gave the ride on Gentle to her 13-year old niece, Bo Leijten, whose mum Margreet Prosman is her trainer. Bo rode the chestnut at the horse's first international in Tolbert in the spring of 2024, followed by Le Mans. At the 2024 Dutch Children Championships they were 8th and ended up being named reserve for the Dutch team for the 2024 European Children Championships.
In 2025 the pair successfully competed at the CDI's in Lier, Tolbert and Exloo, winning four classes. They won silver at the 2025 Dutch Children Championships and were nominated on the Dutch Team for the 2025 European Children Championships in Le Mans, where The Netherlands won team bronze and individual silver.
Children Schoolmaster

The 12-year old Hansmeyer made her international show debut in 2025 in Wellington, Florida, aboard the 16-year old Hanoverian Destino (by Desperados x Rotspon), who was previously shown at young riders level by Polish Julia Janecka. She competed him in the Children division in Wellington, Myakka City, and Ocala in the spring of 2025.
