Dixieland Delight became the best selling horse in the first auction of 2026 which the Westfalian Verband hosted on 18 January 2026.
A large collection of 67 dressage and show jumping bred horses was on offer.
The 5-year old Dixieland Delight (by Dynamic Dream x Sandro Hit) became the top seller, moving to new clients in the U.S.A. for 80,000 euro.
The wife of Japanese Grand Prix rider Yusuke Hasegawa acquired the second most expensive horse in the lot, the 5-year old Bennedictus (by Bonds x Stedinger) for 51,000 euro.
German clients bought the grey 4-year old mare Ballerina (by Bach x Hotline) for 37,500 euro. Dutch clients secured Fellow (by Furst Zonik PS x Londonderry) for 31,000 euro, while the 4-year old Diamond Touch (by Dynamic Dream x Cascadello) moves to Poland for the same amount.

A Spaniard got Fuerteventura (by Furst Belissaro x Quasar de Charry) for 11,500 euro, while Blue Madeira B (by Mykonos x Burberry) goes to France for 10,500 euro. A Brit bought Feinst Fienchen (by Furst Belissaro x Millennium) for 9,500 euro and Bonny (by Bon Courage x Florenciano) for 8,750 euro.
Almost half the collection sold for 15,000 euro or less: 23 sold for between 10,000 - 15,000 euro, 15 stayed under the 10,000 euro marker. 81 percent of the horses offered found new owners. The horses sold achieved an average price of 19,396 euro.
