Paul and Laura Löcher said goodbye to their junior rider's horse Limoncelli, who has moved to a new family as a schoolmaster.

Limoncelli is a 15-year old Hanoverian by Lord Loxley out of Grafitti (by Graphitano x Ibikus). He is bred by Daniela Burkhardt-Robert.

The bay gelding began his sport career under Tatjana Rausch in 2015 at local shows in Hessia. In 2016 she shared the ride with Wiebke Lippert, who gradually took over showing the horse through 2019 when Limoncelli reached S-level.

He sold to the Löcher family as a junior ride for son Paul Löcher. He debuted "Celli" in Heidelberg in February 2020 and finished 25th at the 2020 German Junior Riders championships. In 2021 the pair made it to the Preis der Besten, where they were 9th in the second round and they had their CDI debut in Kronberg in June 2021, the horse's first and only international competition so far.  At the 2021 German Junior Championships they were 31st. Paul competed Limoncelli through 2022.

As of 2023 Paul's younger sister Laura Löcher took over the ride and debuted as a pair in Darmstadt in April 2023. They were 24th at the 2023 German Junior Championships. Laura showed Limoncelli until August 2024, their last show being in Zeiskam.

Limoncelli has now moved into a new barn. "The new owners (are) a lovely family with one boy and one girl from Germany. They want to ride with him children class," Paul Löcher told Eurodressage.

The horse has been acquired by Stephan Linkert for 13-year old Jasper Rasche to ride. He trains out of the Neuwied Riding Club.
