The Norwegian Equestrian Federation (NRYF) has made some changes to the organization of the technical dressage staff concerning the long-term planning towards the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Helljesen to Focus Solely on Senior Division
The changes involve a clearer prioritization of senior dressage, with the goal of more targeted resource use and closer follow-up of riders eligible for international championships and Olympic participation.
As a result, Siril Helljesen is relieved of responsibility for the U21 group.
"I look forward to contributing further to the work of developing Norwegian dressage and to collaborating closely with riders, support staff and the Olympic Team in the years leading up to LA 2028. It has been fun to follow several young talents develop in the sport," said Siril.
New Youth Team Trainer Sought
Helena Liholt Gulli will continue as the team captain and chef d'equipe for the Norwegian Youth Riders but a new youth team trainer spot, which Helljesen used to fill, is now open.
The federation is now seeking a new youth team trainer to strengthen its staff.
