Lilli von Helldorff's internationally competed FEI pony is on the move. The 13-year old gelding has moved on with a new rider in Sweden.

Dobbi Dobsen is a 2012 born Westfalian pony by Dimension AT out of Dublina (by Dublin x Rosedale Tiberius). He is bred by Agnes Beckhoff.

Double Bundeschampionate Finalist

The chestnut arrived in Von Helldorff's stable 11 years ago as a 2-year old and has had eight different competition riders in his career so far. 

He was first competed as a 3-year old in 2015 by Vera Müller. In 2016 Maja Schnakenberg took over the ride and qualified him for the 2017 Bundeschampionate where they finished 5th in the consolation finals.

In 2018 Mai-Britt Puckhaber began showing Dobbi and made it to the Bundeschampionate to plave 5th in the 6-year old finals. In 2019 it was Merle Marie Könke's turn for some national showing but as of 2020 she shared the ride with Lilli von Helldorff.

Lilli and Dobbi were a steady pair as of 2021. Their international show debut followed in April 2023 at the CDI Tolbert, where they won all three rounds. They went to Troisdorf and rode the German team selection trial in Hagen and were named third reserve. They were 6th at the 2023 German Pony Championships.

In 2024 they did the CDI's in Lier, Tolbert and Hagen, and closed the season in Leeuwarden and Kronenberg Indoor.They were 7th at the 2024 German Pony Championships. In 2025 they did only one CDI, in Hagen, but won the national 2025 Hamburg Pony Derby.

New Rider

Dobbi Dobsen has now left the Von Helldorff stables and has moved to Sweden.

He has been secured as a new ride for Elissa Ek, who has been seriously increasing her string of horses this autumn. She also owns and competes ponies Jonker's Jayden and Dreimalhoch S at national level and recently acquired junior horse Mytrichta van de Westen as well as pony Darboven K.
