Hpnotiq MJ, Swedish WCYH Team Horse, Sold to Germany as Junior Hopeful

Hpnotiq MJ, a Swedish team horse at the 2024 World Young Horse Championships, has been sold to Germany.

Hpnotiq MJ is a 6-year old Swedish warmblood by Springbank II VH out of Cristal MJ (by Floricello x Landlord). He is bred by Maria Oscarius of Stall MJ in Sweden and was owned by Linnea Sellström.

Lina Dolk

As a foal the chestnut won the regional foal championships in Malardalen in 2019 He sold as a 2-year old to Linnea Sellstrom, the sister in law of his rider, Lina Dolk.

Dolk premiered Hpnotiq in competition in the spring of 2022, but the first notable successes were achieved in 2024 when the pair was selected to represent Sweden at the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, where the pair finished 29th in the 5-year old consolation finals.

This year the duo did not return on the Swedish team for the WCYH but continued to compete nationally with their last start being the 2025 Swedish Warmblood Young Horse Championships, where they won the bronze medal. In the summer they were sixth in Falsterbo in the 6-year old class.

Germany

Hpnotiq MJ has been sold to Germany as a junior rider hopeful for German Vivianne Mercker.

The 16-year old Mercker competed one season internationally in 2023 as a children rider. With Djamalla (by Don Romanov x Sir Donnerhall) she showed at the CDIO-CH Hagen and represented Germany at the European Children Championship in Kronberg, where they won team gold and placed fourth individually. She also won the 2023 Preis der Besten and German Children Championships.

In 2024 Mercker moved to national junior level and placed 19th at the German Junior Riders Championships. In 2025 she continued to gain experience and mileage at junior level and was 9th at the Preis der Besten, won the Bavarian regional championships and placed 9th in the second round at the German Junior Championships.
