Emmelie Scholtens' small tour ride, the 8-year old KWPN stallion Miami Turfhorst, has been sold to Dutch rider Carmen Coronel.

Miami Turfhorst is a Dutch warmblood by Toto Jr out of Eden (by Don Schufro x Rubin Royal). He is bred by Eric Koele of Turfhorst stud.

The liver chestnut stallion came into Emmelie Scholtens' barn as a 2.5 year old to prepare for the KWPN licensing.  He was accepted at the 2020 KWPN Stallion Licensing, but never completed the full licensing process as he began but dropped out of the 2020 KWPN Autumn Stallion Performance Testing. He was invited to the 2021 performance test but didn't do it.

In the summer of 2020 it was announced that she and stallion keeper Joop van Uytert became the co-owners of the horse. He ended up being licensed for breeding with the AES society.

Scholtens produced the stallion to schooling Grand Prix level. She competed him lightly in Holland. They showed at advanced medium level in 2024 and by the end up the 2024 he did his first Prix St Georges test.

The liver chestnut has now moved to his new home where Carmen Coronel has taken over the reins.

Coronel competes in dressage and working equitation. She is trained by Tineke Bartels and Imke Schellekens.

She has never shown internationally in FEI dressage so far, but rode the European Working Equitation Championships as well as at Golega on Lusitanos.
