The KWPN Dutch warmblood studbook continues its firm hold on the number one spot in the WBFSH Studbook ranking for Dressage.
For the 9th consecutive year, KWPN is topping the end of the year ranking for studbooks in dressage; this year with a total of 12,783 points. KWPN has held the number one spot since 2017!
The top six horses contributing to this winning spot are
- Glamourdale (by Lord Leatherdale) – 2469 points
- Jagerbomb (by Dante Weltino) – 2366 points
- Fame (by Bordeaux) – 2159
- Flambeau (by Ampere) – 1975 points
- Gotilas (by Totilas) – 1911
- Hartsuijker (by Johnson) – 1903
The second placed studbook is Oldenburg, who is closely on KWPN's heels with 12,310 points. Their top six contributing horses are:
- Bluetooth (by Bordeaux) – 2164
- Total Hope (by Totilas) – 2118
- Denoix Pch (by Destano) – 2108
- Maxima Bella (by Millennium) – 2029
- Invoice (by Jazz) – 1989

The third ranked studbook is the Hanoverian society with 11,665 points. Their six best horses are:

Danish warmblood is fourth (11,176 points) and Westfalen is fifth (10,820 pts).
Looking at the smaller studbooks, Lusitano is highest ranked in 7th place (9,087 pts), while Portuguese Sport Horse is 9th (7,597 pts). The largest studbook in size, when it comes to the amount of foals born each year, the Spanish PRE horse, takes up the 12th spot (5,017 points).
