Train, invest, buy, or sell — your next chapter in equestrian sport begins here.
After five transformative years living, training, and competing at the heart of Europe’s elite equestrian world, Monica Burssens and Manuel Lecuona are back in Wellington, Florida, and ready to share everything they’ve learned.
A Journey of Passion and Precision
Living in Germany and traveling throughout Europe, Monica and Manuel immersed themselves in the root of equestrian sport. From competing in 5* events to training with world-class mentors like Borja Carrascosa and Lars Nieberg, every moment was a step to deeper understanding.
Knowledge and learning have always guided our path in horse training. From the start, training with Patrick Burssens gave us the basics and foundation of our training and knowledge, teaching us how to develop the horse with ease while keeping them happy in their work. Living with the Balkenhol family deepened our respect for classical knowledge and true horsemanship.
Spending the past five years training with Borja Carrascosa and learning from his whole team at his outstanding facility in Germany has been instrumental in shaping our dressage program. It has strengthened our ability to develop horses from young prospects to Grand Prix level, refined our approach to riding sensitive and talented horses, and enhanced our performance in the competition arena.
Manuel has produced several top-level jumpers from a young age to the international Grand Prix level. Among them is Noche de Ronda, a mare he developed from age 4 to 10 before selling her to McLain Ward, with whom she went on to win multiple 5* Grand Prix events.
The last five years living and competing in Europe have been our “Ivy League education” in the sport, refining us as riders and professionals, and reinforcing our commitment to putting the horse’s well-being first..
“There’s no Harvard for horse people, but we found our education in the stables of Europe," said Manuel
Study the Craft, Share the Knowledge
Whether you’re looking to:
• Train with top-level guidance,
• Develop or sell your horse,
• Find the perfect equine partner, or
• Invest in future Grand Prix champions,
… you now have access to decades of wisdom, honed by unforgettable lessons learned competing internationally across Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Qatar, and beyond.
“We went to Europe not just to compete, but to study our craft like there’s no school for it, living and breathing the sport every day," Burssens added.
Now, back in Wellington, their mission is to pass that knowledge on: to riders seeking better connection, owners wanting the best development for their horses, and investors looking for long-term success in the sport.
