2025 Westphalian Autumn Auction: Westphalian and Bundeschampion For Sale

For this autumn auction, the Westphalian Studbook has provided some very special diamonds from its treasure chest. Dressage horses and riding ponies with powerful movements are up for sale in the 2025 Westphalian Autumn Elite auction on 5 October 2025. 

The grande opening of the Westphalian Autumn auction this year is more than special! The first three head numbers are carried by the reining Westpahlian Champions of young riding horses among those is even the Bundeschampionesse of three-year-old-riding horses. All three of them are still in ownership of their breeders and are now ready to conquer the hearts of new owners and with them the dressage arenas of the world.

The auction is opened by the daughter of Vaderland/For Romance Valera (B.: FK Sporthorses, Westerkappeln). The typey mare has already impressed numerous times this year at the Westphlian Horse Center. She was crowned Champion mare of the Westphalian Elite Show this year. Two days later the became Westphalian Champion of four-year-old ridining horses. In her mare performance test she recieved an outstanding score of 8.85. The judges and the rider awarded her a 9.5 for rideability. Valera is a young horse that leaves little to be desired for the future.

With head number 2 Be my Sunshine by Benicio/For Dance (breeder: ZG Ulmker, Neuenkirchen) will enter the auction ring. The three-year-old mare has also impressed everyone at the Westphalian Week, where she was named champion of three-year-old riding horses. Four weeks later she celebrated another great success in Warendorf where she became Bundeschampion. All of this together with her breeder and trainer Christiane Ulmker in the saddle. This damline has been cherished at the Ulmker farm in Neuenkirchen for decades. Numerous Grand Prix successful sport horses and auction peaks descent from this damline. The granddam of By my Sunshine also gave birth to Diadora who was sold at the Westphalian Autumn auction two years ago for 105.000 euros.

Head number 3 carries another Westphalian Champion of this year. The four-year-old Symphonie  P (breeder: Josef Pottbäcker, Kerken). The daughter of Sir Heinrich/Jazz Rubin carries the title state premium mare and has completed her mare performance test with a final score of 8.56. After her success at the Westphalian Week she competed in the final of the Bundeschampionat and took the fourth place. Her sire the state stud stallion Sir Heinrich has impressed with his offspring at the Westphlian auction place many many times. Just one year ago his daughter Seniorita la Bonita was sold for 550.000 euros.

Among the three riding ponies for sale in this lot head number 5 Come Together WE is a very special one. The son of Cosmopolitan D NRW/Hesselteichs Golden Dream (breeder: Simone Visser, Dentlein) was crowned champion stallion of the riding pony licensing at the Westphalian Studbook in 2023. After numerous victories in riding horse classes with outstanding marks, he became champion at the Oldenburg state championship in Rastede this year. With great rideability and high quality of movement this riding pony is ready for the next championships.

The auction lot is completed by unridden youngster and broodmares in foal to special sires, which promise great things for the future.

A look at the auction collection from the Westphalian Studbook is certainly worthwhile, and the auction promises exciting bidding duels in a stylish setting.
