Feline Niessen's Dutch team pony Diamond Blue has been sold to Denmark. The palomino will continue as an FEI dressage pony level schoolmaster.

Diamond Blue is a 12-year old Rhinelander by FS Daddy Cool out of Golden Sparkler (by FS Golden Moonlight x Ismael ox). He is bred by Ulrich and Katja Neuhaus.

German Start

Diamond Blue's career began in his birth country, Germany, where he was first licensed at the 2015 Westfalian Pony Stallion Licensing and his breeding rights were owned by Josef Wilbers of Ferienhof Stucker.

Before selling to The Netherlands, the pony had a string of riders: he was competed by no less than 6 riders in his younger years.  Jessica Süss showed him first as a 3-year old in 2016 through April 2018. After that Lea-Katharina Strothmann took ver the ride and took him to the 2018 Bundeschampionate, where they were 12th in the 5-year old finals.

In the summer of 2019 Leonie Habrock took over from Strothmann, but the latter rode hum again at the 2019 Bundeschampionate and finished 8th in the 6-year old finals.  The pony had sold to Stefanie Rothernberger-Krause and in the winter of 2019 Moritz Treffinger competed him briefly, while in 2020 it was Antonia Busch-Kuffner's turn while in 2021 Lynn de Angelis showed him at local competitions in Westfalia.

Feline Niessen

Diamond Blue was put in the 2021 Westfalian Autumn Elite Auction and sold for 38,500 euro to the Niessen family in The Netherlands.

Feline Niessen made her international debut on him at the 022 CDI Kronenberg Indoor in December 2022.

In 2023 the pair competed at CDI's in Exloo, Le Mans, Aachen, Tolbert, Hagen, Troisdorf and Aachen Young Stars, but they first made it onto the Dutch team in 2024. At the European Pony Championships in Opglabbeek they placed 18th in the Kur to Music finals. The Dutch team placed fifth. They won bronze at the 2024 Dutch Pony Championships.

In her last year on ponies Feline and Diamond Blue showed at CDI's in Tolbert, Compiegne, Exloo and Hagen, before heading to the European Championships in Le Mans where they won team silver and placed 10th in the individual test. As fourth Dutch rider they did not make the kur final. They won bronze at the 2025 Dutch Pony Championships.

Diamond Blue has now been sold to Jeannette Laursen as an FEI pony schoolmaster for her daughter Rosa.

Laursen owns Stutteri H in Denmark and has two dressage riding daughters, Sofie and Rosa.

Rosa Duval Laursen has been actively competing two ponies this year, the former Danish team pony Dot Com, who has returned from Sweden, and Stald Magic My Way (by Lykkehojs Bodypaint x Don Kennedy).
