Pony Stallion Celebration Passed Away

Clara Parschertz' internationally competed FEI pony Celebration has passed away. The owner announced that her pony died a year ago, on 24 September 2024.

Celebration was a 16-year old German Riding Pony stallion by Constantin out of Royal Plaisir (by Royal Diamond x Plaisir d'Amour). He was bred by Gudula Vorwerk-Happ.

Licensed Stallion

The breeder is a cousin of Klaus Crone-Münzebrock, the late husband of Maria Crone-Münzebrock who initially owned and managed the stallion.

Celebration is a full brother to Clooney WE. The bay was first licensed at the 2016 Weser Ems pony stallion licensing and later approved for Westfalia as well. He has only 16 offspring registered with the FN. Three sons are licensed (Cyan, Chefsache, Cannondale).

Tanja Fischer

Celebration was first competed by Jantje Gerdes-Fürup in 2013, but at the end of the year Ann-Sophie Lückert showed him once.

In the autumn of 2015 Tanja Fischer took over the stallion and produced him to Prix St Georges level, riding him in a double bridle against horses. Fischer rode the pony in his first CDI in 2018 in Ermelo in the small tour.

Clara Paschertz

In 2020 the bay stallion moved into ownership of the Paschertz' family for daughter Clara to ride.

Clara made her show debut in Ankum in October 2020 and they rode their first CDI in Hagen in June 2021, followed by Exloo and Aachen Young Stars. They were 9th at the 2021 Preis der Besten and 5th at the 2021 German Pony Championships.

Their last international season together was in 2022 with starts at the CDI's in Opglabbeek, Le Mans, and Kronberg, and finished 8th in the 2022 Preis der Besten.

Nationally they continued showing through 2023 with the Oldenburg regional championships in Rastede as their last show as a pair in July 2023.

Untimely Passing

A year ago Celebration passed away.

"Today marks one year since I had to say goodbye to my favorite pony, Celebration," said Clara. "You weren’t just my partner, but also my best friend. I’m forever grateful for the time we shared and everything you taught me. The memories we made are ones I’ll never forget."
