SWB Equestrian Weeks

This year’s SWB Equestrian Weeks, featuring the Breeders Trophy in both dressage and jumping, brings all foals together during the same week, September 30 – October 5, for the first time in many years. The result? An exclusive mix of dressage and jumping foals that has already generated record-breaking interest.

“Both collections are incredibly diverse and add to the excitement around the auctions,” says Anette Graf, CEO of SWB.

This year, 66 top foals have been carefully selected by an experienced team – all chosen for their exceptional quality and future potential.

Boudewijn Schepers, one of Europe’s most experienced experts in showjumping breeding, was impressed:
“Many of the foals had excellent legs, which is crucial for future performance. The quality here in Sweden is very high – you don’t see that everywhere.”

Collection Highlights

Among the selected foals you’ll find Yxebos Silver Rocket (by Santiano) in dressage, Giulia Pieralli LVST (by Chou Blue) in jumping, as well as international bloodlines such as Powers VH (by Proud James) and Ellmitage Flip-W (by Ermitage Kalone, fresh European Championship medalist). Young sires are also strongly represented – proof that Swedish breeders dare to invest in the future.

Dutch judge Rick Jespers also highlights the quality: “Many of the dressage foals had a very modern expression with long lines and an elegant type – exactly what you want to see today.”

At the digital auction, the SWB Elite Foal Auction Online, you’ll find even more top foals, such as Julie (by Kjento – Total Hope) with an international dressage pedigree, Azizam RM (by Favorit Ask – Numero Uno) and High Protector (by Chaccafly CL – Satisfaction), both with performance bloodlines for future top-level sport.

Launchpad

For nearly 20 years, the SWB Elite Foal Auctions have been a launchpad for future competition horses – many of them now competing at Grand Prix level.

For example we have Fresno S.H, currently ranked as Germany’s best 7-year-old show jumper and a scend place at Hippomundos ranking list of 7-year-old horses, Mayfair, HS Cool Case, Carlsberg HE, Silver Kazam and Dagny VT, all competing successfully up to 1.50m level. In dressage, we have Vividus QRE and Lumiére, both competing internationally at Grand Prix level, and BE Allex, who continues to excel up to Intermediaire II. The most recent rising auction star is Ebbot F, sold at the 2021 Elite Foal Auction and now qualified for the Breeders Trophy for 4-year-old dressage horses with an outstanding score of 92.5%!
