Betina Jaeger Jensen joins NorCordia

NorCordia is proud to announce a new official partnership with Danish Grand Prix rider Betina Jæger Jensen. After nearly a year of collaboration, the partnership now takes full shape with Betina joining as an official partner of NorCordia. She will continue to train and develop horses from her base in Dronninglund in Denmark while becoming part of the organization’s international team.

“From the very beginning, our cooperation with Betina has felt like the right fit,” says Ulrik Clemmensen, co-founder and CEO of NorCordia Europe. “She brings tremendous expertise, both with young horses and at Grand Prix level. To have a rider with her breadth of experience and values join us as partner is a major strength for NorCordia.”

Partnership Officially Commenced 1 September 2025

The partnership began nearly a year ago when NorCordia became co-owner of Hill Top Cabernet – a horse Betina had purchased as a youngster. Since then, several more horses have joined. Alongside her new role at NorCordia, Betina continues to run her own business in Dronninglund, where she trains horses for private clients.

“NorCordia and I share the same view on what kind of horses we like and how they should be developed and trained,” says Betina Jæger Jensen. “Another clear advantage is their strong marketing setup - something I don’t usually have much time to focus on in a busy everyday life. That support is a huge plus.”

Both parties highlight their shared philosophy: patience, quality, and finding the right match for each horse.

“Of course, the goal is to sell horses,” Jæger Jensen notes, “but what I truly value about NorCordia is that there is no rush. Training the horse and giving them the time they need creates long-term soundness and happy athletes. That philosophy matches mine completely - and it reflects NorCordia’s core belief: Horses for LIFE.”

Jæger Jensen is recognized as a rider with proven results both in young horse development and Grand Prix sport. Her career highlights include winning the 2023 World Young Horse Championships with Quinn G (94.800%), a 4th place finish in 2025 with the five-year-old Faustino G, and 3rd place with Fredensdals Impressive in the five-year-old final at the Falsterbo Horse Show. She has also represented Denmark at the 2018 World Equestrian Games with Belstaff, she has earned top Grand Prix results, as well as a podium finish in Aachen with Belstaff as well.

“Betina has developed many horses from start to top level, which is a huge advantage,” Clemmensen adds. “Her ability to succeed both with young horses and at the highest level of international sport is extremely rare, and it brings tremendous value to NorCordia’s mission of developing top-class sport horses.”
