Voltax Texel was the top selling foal of the Midden-Nederland foal auction at equestrian center De Nieuwe Heuvel in Lunteren on 3 September 2025.
A huge collection of no less than 61 foals was sold at auction. It was a mixed collection of dressage and show jumping bred foals as well as Friesians.
Voltax Texel (by Obsession Taonga x Desperados) sold for the highest hammer price of the day: 27,000 euro.
The second most expensive foal was Bon Jovi (by Bon Bolero out of Pavo Cup winner McMary (by McLaren)) went for 22,000 euro.
Van Persie W.V. (by Dutch Dream x Toto Jr) went for 19,000 euro
Viggo (by Proud James x Franklin) sold for 14,000 euro.
Vynola M (by Extreme US x Dream Boy) and Vision Quest RF (by McLaren x Alexandro P) both fetched 13,000 euro.
Vitor (by Daxx x Toto Jr) sold for 11,000 euro.
