Tyszko & Cichon Elite Foal Auction

The 2025 Tyszko & Cichoń Elite Foal Auction has set new record in Poland by selling Viticello OREA for a new national record auction price.

The auction took place on 30 August 2025 at Cichon Dressage in Radzionków, Poland, where the Ope Foal and Young Horse championship took place the same weekend.

A collection of 14 dressage and show jumping bred foals was on offer and it attracted clients from all over Europe.

The most expensive dressage foal was Viticello OREA (by V-Power x Sir Donnerhall I), which sold for 59,000€ to Uwe Hannöver, who represented a group of investors. Viticello is out of a full sister to Paul Schockemöhle's star broodmare Gesina, who produced licensed stallions For Romance I, Feinrich, and Viva Romance PS.

"It is the highest amount ever offered at a foal auction in Poland," organizer Mateusz Cichon said proudly.

The second highest price was 18.000€ for the colt Volare (by Va Bene x Desperado) He joined the auction collection with a „wild card” during the foals championships in the morning. He sold to a Polish Grand Prix rider.

Escamillo's Junior z Konigorki (by Escamillo x Dante's Junior) found a new owner for 10,500 euro, True Prince (by True Hope x Don Frederico) sold for 10,000 euro, Velcoro (by Vino Tinto x Secret) for 9,000 euro.

The most expensive jumping foal was Elegance E (by Ermitage Kalone x Udarco van Overis) which sold for 20,000€ to Germany, wile United Elite MK Z (by United Touch S x Malito de Reve) sold to a Polish client for 17,000€

The average price for a foal in this auction was 15,760€.
