Polish Team Announced for 2025 European Dressage Championships

The Polish equestrian federation has announced its team for the 2025 European Dressage Championships in Crozet, France, on 26 - 31 August 2025. 

The dressage committee at the Polish federation made their final pick and selected the following team:

  • Sandra Sysojeva and Maxima Bella
  • Ilona Janas and Dark Knight
  • Katarzyna Milczarek and Guapo
  • Susanne Krohn and Titolas

The reserve rider is Hubert Jankowski with Guerlain.

The team will be captained by dressage committee member, chef d'equipe Dominika Krasko.

Polish riders have been collecting scores for team selection until the very last minute.

Poland's number one, Lithuanian born Sandra Sysojeva and her top mare Maxima Bella competed in six CDI's between February and July with starts at the World Cup Finals and Aachen, where they were second in the 4* tour (73.696%).

Katarzyna Milczarek and her 14-year old Lusitano Guapo made a very late start in the season, riding their first CDI in 2025 on 18 July in Dunajsky Klatov (SVK), followed by Achleiten (68.848 and 67.718% in the Grand Prix).

Ilona Janas and her 11-year old Dark Knight began their campaign in March in Motesice and also rode six CDI's in total, trending upwards to 68% at the last two CDI's in Sopot and Dunajsky Klatov.

German born Susanne Krohn also did six CDI's this spring and early summer aboard Titolas, their last being in Macon (FRA). She scored between 62.544% and 67.217% in their Grand Prix tests this year.

The Dutch based Hubert Jankowski also rode 6 CDI's starting in Le Mans in February and he did his last one in Macon. His GP scores range  between 63.457% and 67.935%
