Helgstrand Dressage will move its German base to Isabell Werth's yard in Rheinberg after the collaboration with Maik Kanitsky at Gestut Famos in Syke ended.

In a press release issued on 7 August 2025, Helgstrand communicated that "effective January 1, 2026, Helgstrand Dressage Germany will move its operations to the world’s most successful dressage rider, Isabell Werth. The long-standing and valued collaboration with Paul Schockemöhle will continue unchanged."

Dr. Ulf Möller will continue as a valued part of the Helgstrand team, serving as scout, trainer, and international representative to our clients worldwide.

“We are pleased to continue benefiting from Ulf’s wide-ranging experience and deep expertise. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Ulf and the entire team for our highly successful years at Gestüt Famos. Several team members will continue in the new setup,” says Andreas Helgstrand.

Helgstrand further added that "in connection with the new partnership, Isabell Werth is currently developing state-of-the-art facilities that include modern offices, an EU-approved stallion station, stabling, and expanded training areas for both breeding stallions and sport horses. Helgstrand Dressage Germany will lease space at these facilities, where Isabel Werth will oversee the staff and take responsibility for the training and development of the horses."

Andreas said, “this extension of our collaboration with Isabell Werth is a dream come true. She is not only a living legend in the sport, but also one of the most professional and respected figures in the entire equestrian world. With this new setup, we are ensuring world-class conditions for the development and performance of our horses."

Werth stated, “I am truly looking forward to this partnership with Helgstrand Dressage and to welcoming both stallions and sales horses into our home. Together, we aim to raise the bar for quality in training and create optimal conditions for the horses both in breeding and sport.”

Helgstrand's German based stallions will move from Gestüt Famos to Isabell Werth’s facilities, but the semen distribution will remain under Paul Schockemöhle’s system.
