The Spanish equestrian federation has confirmed the final group of horses which will represent Spain at the 2025 World Championships for young dressage horses in Verden on 6 - 10 August 2025.
Spain has been allocated 5 slots for home bred horses, even though the size of its PRE studbook is larger than KWPN in The Netherlands (the quote for Holland is KPWN combined with Friesian but no Friesian has ever been sent to the WCYH by The Netherlands).
With five slots in each category, Spain can send up to 15 PRE or CDE bred horses, but this year it has opted to nominate 13 in total. They decided to send only three 6-year olds instead of five.
