The international Grand Prix horse Fredensdals Fountain has been sold to Malaysia as a schoolmaster and 2026 Asian Games hopeful.

Fredendals Fountain is a 15-year old Danish warmblood gelding by Furstenball out of Gioia (by Stedinger x Michelangelo). He is bred by Linda Falensteen and Martin Strange

Licensed Stallion

Under the care of Michael Sogaard and Kristian Wold, the grey was licensed as a stallion at the 2013 Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing in Herning.  He passed the 10-day observation test but not the 35-day test and lost his licensed status.

He briefly stood up for stud but was gelded to be focused on sport. His most successful offspring in sport is Michael Sogaard's small tour horse Lord Fountain (out of a Gribaldi dam).

Between 2020 and 2021he only did two shows, but made his Grand Prix level debut in March 2022. Sogaard rode Fountain in the horse's first CDI in Falsterbo at Grand Prix level.

As of 2023 the ride was handed Helene Melsen and in 2024 she won team gold with him at the Nordic Baltic Championships in Skaarup. He also competed at the 2024 Danish Grand Prix Championships where he finished 7th in the Grand Prix test.

Most recently he was shown by Ulrik Falbe-Hansen in Denmark at small tour level.
