
Belgian team rider Xyliana de Rover has withdrawn from competing at the 2025 European Junior Riders Championships in Le Mans, France, on 28 July - 3 August.
De Rover was set to compete her SBS registered Hamlet (by Quadroneur x Monteverdi) for the third, consecutive year. The pair recently won the 2025 Belgian Junior Riders Championships and competed in only one CDI this season, in Hagen on 12 - 14 June 2025, where she scored 68.232% in the team test and 69.608% in the individual test. The pair trains with Jacqueline Fiechter.
"He unfortunately suffered a sudden injury and is not fit to compete in 3 weeks," De Rover explained. "Fortunately, he does go on to make a full recovery. We will give him all the time he needs before we take him up again."
The other three Belgian junior team riders are Charlott Blevi (Junior Hit), Amber Hennes (Allegro vh Trichelhof) and Emilie Herweyers (Belle Vista).
Upon announcing the team on 25 June, Belgian junior chef d'equipe Alain Rauw named Helena Theeuwes (Escape) as first reserve and Anna Peeters (Sumatra AH) as second reserve. Further nominatively entered is Camille Ossieur (Fritz B).
The final decision, who will substitute for De Rover, will be made by the definite entry deadline.
