Olivia Vliek's internationally competed small tour mare Annamira has been sold to German junior team rider Maria Teresa Pohl.

Annamira is an 11-year old Oldenburg mare by Fiderbach out of Abby Dawn (by Argentinus x Rubinstein). She is bred by Mieck & Wienken.

Olivia Vliek and William Matthew

Vliek bought Annamira as a 6-year old in May 2020 in The Netherlands, where she was training with Joye Heuitink at the time.

The pair made its international show debut as a 7-year old under her Finnish owner and rider Olivia Vliek. The pair competed at the 2021 CDI Le Mans and scored 62.868% and 68.357%.

Vliek sent the mare to Germany and went on a 1,5-year competition break herself. Annamira moved into training with Australian William Matthew, where she stayed for the last 3.5 years.

Matthew debuted her first nationally at small tour level at the local show at Haus Alaquint, scoring 68.530%. In September he took her down the international centerline at the CDI Hagen Covalliero Dressage Days and placed fourth twice with 70 percent scores.

The reins were handed back to Vliek in the spring and summer of 2024. She competed her at the CDI Hagen in June at small tour level, while Matthew was back on board in the autumn and rode Annamira in her first S*** level test in Hamminkeln in November 2024. They scored 69.340%

In 2025 the mare posted 68.820% in the Inter II in Hamminkeln in April and most recently got 73.4% in the Grand Prix at Wickrath on 27 April 2025.

Maria Teresa Pohl

Annamira sold shortly afterwards to German junior team rider Maria Teresa Pohl.

The pair made its first public appearance at the CDIO-J Hagen Future Championships where Annamira travelled to as a training horse.

In 2024 Pohl trained with Andrea Timpe out of Gestüt Riedmühle, but in December 2024 began working with Peter Hameeteman.
