First Ever Croatian Team To Be Fielded at 2025 European Children Championships

For the first time ever developing dressage nation Croatia will be fielding a team of riders to the European Children Championships.

The Children Euros coincide with the 2025 European Pony and Junior Riders Championships in Le Mans (FRA) on 28 July - 3 August 2025.

Croatia will be fielding four riders in total to these Championships: a children's team of three and one junior rider

Dariia Novinskaia - Fitzcarraldo, a 12-year old Oldenburg gelding by Fidertanz x Rouletto
Olivia Marton Mihaldinec - Let's Dance, a 9-year old KWPN gelding by Apache x Sandreo

Gita has Dior (KWPN, by Jazz x Scandic) as reserve horse, Novinskaia has Queen Lakshmi (HANN, by Quaterhall x Dancier) as a reserve horse.

Junior

The Croatian equestrian federation did not select any pony, young riders or U25 riders. Croatia has a total of 7 (!) international dressage riders registered with the FEI, of which one is a para rider (Denis Zuljevic) and one a senior Grand Prix rider (Karen Pavicic).

There is one further junior rider (Kaya Probst) who only made her come back to the CDI ring in June 2025 after an almost three year break from international showing. Probst competed at the 2020 European Children Championships (Mister Cool) and 2022 European Junior Championships (Rotspon's Rockin) and currently rides professionally at Arie Yom Tov's Stable Unikornis in Pilisjaszfalu, Hungary.
