Cathrine Dufour and Mount St. John Freestyle have withdrawn from competing in the FEI Nations Cup at the 2025 CDIO Aachen on 2 - 6 July 2025.
The highly "pre-Crozet" show down between Wendy (Isabell Werth) vs. Freestyle (Dufour) will have to wait until Crozet if all goes to plan.
"We had a training session yesterday where I didn't think Freestyle was at her best, and that's why we chose to withdraw her from the Aachen event so as not to rush or risk anything, " said Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour.
Dufour's spot on the Danish team in Aachen will be taken by Rikke Dupont and Grand Galiano. The pair was entered for the 4* tour but now moves up into the 5* tour.
The open slot for Denmark in the 4* tour will be filled by Kenneth Damgaard and Uno Day Sun.
