The chestnut colt Fargo became the best selling foal in the 2025 Westfalian Online Foal auction for which the bidding concluded on 16 June 2025.
A collection of 25 foals was on offer: 20 riding horses and 5 pony foals. Twenty-one of them sold.
Fargo (by Fanegro x Fiorano) had the highest offer of 21,500 euro. Bred by Hermann Zumvenne and presented by Mathieu Beckmann, the colt will stay in Germany according to the online bidding website, but the price statistic from the Westfalian verband states he sold abroad.
The second highest price was 15,500 euro, paid for filly Ballerina Meyer (by Bonds x Sir Donnerhall).
Two foals sold for 9,000 euro: A Dutchman secured Dancefloor (by Despacito x Furstenball) for this price, while Valetto (by Viva Vitalis x Floriscount) moves to Spain.
All other foals sold to German clients, except for pony foal Never Forget Me B (by Neverland x Classic Dancer), who goes to Switzerland for 3,000 euro.
The average price for a horse foal was 8,868 euro, for a pony foal it was "around" 4,000 euro.
