So Perfect, a former licensed stallion and Grand Prix level trained gelding, has been sold to Sweden. He will continue his sport career with Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfven.

So Perfect is an 8-year old gelding by Sezuan out of Shakikra (by Sir Donnerhall x Rohdiamant). He is bred by Frank Nordhausen.

Reserve Licensing Champion

Owned by Andreas Helgstrand in partnership with Heiko Klausing, So Perfect was presented at the 2019 Oldenburg Stallion Licensing in Vechta, where he was named reserve champion. He went on to become a premium stallion at the 2020 Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing in Herning.

He did his 14-day suitability test in Denmark in March 2020 scoring 8,05 points. A year later he fulfilled the 35-day performance test in Denmark with 842 points. He is approved for all major German studbooks.

Top Breeder, Sport on the Backburner

He became one of Helgstrand's most popular breeding stallions, which put his sport career on the back-burner.

From his first crop of foals, seven sons were licensed in Germany. At the moment his tally is up to fifteen (!) licensed sons. He has 125 offspring registered for sport in Germany.

He first competed in Denmark as a 5-year old in June 2022. Under Betina Jager he finished 7th at the 2022 Danish Young Horse Championships. He did one show in 2023.

He moved to Germany to be trained by Leonie Richter at Helgstrand Germany. He did one show in Okel in May 2024 at small tour level.

Australian Intermezzo

In October 2024 Australian investors couple Paul and Emma Weel purchased an ownership share from Helgstrand with the plan to develop his breeding and sport career.

Soon after the sale the breeding part was dropped and the stallion got gelded.

So Perfect to Sweden

The Weels have decided to let go of So Perfect and agreed to have him sold. Instead they acquired through Helgstrand a young riders horse, Espe, for their pony riding daughter Abby Weel.

Lovsta Stuteri in Sweden has purchased So Perfect as a Grand Prix hopeful for Tinne Vilhelmson.
