Escaluna, Highest Priced in the 2025 Westfalian Summer Auction

Escaluna became the highest priced horse in the collection of the 2025 Westfalian Summer Auction for which the bidding conclude on 15 June 2025.

A lot of 33 riding horses was up for sale and 28 of them found a new owner for an average price of 17,893 euro. Sixteen of them were dressage bred and just three sold abroad.

Head number 1 Escaluna (by Escamillo x Don Larino) was the top-priced horse with a hammer price of 53,000 euro. She is bred by Heiner Böckmann and was owned by Sarah Bentrup. She sold to a German bidder. 

The 5-year old Fräulein Meier (by Fashion in Black x Rock Forever) was the second most expensive dressage horse of the day, selling for 25,000 euro. She will also stay in Germany.

Baroness (by Benicio x Van Vivaldi) sold to an American bidder for 23,500 euro, Délysée AK (by Diamond Deluxe x Lissaro) stays in Germany for 23,000 euro.

An Austrian purchased Be Happy (by Bernay x Axis) for 10,000 euro, a Hungarian secured Follow the Sun (by For Gold x Stoiber SN) for 8,000 euro.
