The 5-year old Zum Dank, the 6-year old Vitamin B, and the 7-year old Florida WM became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the national show in Haftenkamp on 17 May 2025.
In the 5-year old division eleven combinations competed in the L-level class and Charlott-Maria Schürmann topped the board with Hof Kasselmann's Oldenburg gelding Zum Dank (by Zum Glück x Don Primero). They scored 8.20 in total for the win after receiving 8 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 8.2 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.3 for general impression. Spaniard Borja Carrascosa and Maik Schemmann's Hanoverian stallion DC'Egalite Gold (by Dancier Gold x Totilas) were second with 8.18 points. The stallion got 7.8 for walk, 8.3 for trot, 8.2 for canter, 8.4 for submission and 8.2 for general impression.
In the 6-year old class at M-level, Schürmann once again bested a field of 12 pairs. She won the class aboard Andrea Jöbstl's Hanoverian gelding Vitamin B (by Valverde x Christ) on a score of 8.4 points. The gelding got 9 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 8 for canter and submission and 8.5 for general impression. Schürmann also placed second with Hof Kasselmann's Vitali PS (by Vitalis x Sandro Hit) on 8.24 points. This Oldenburg gelding got 8 for walk, 8.6 for trot, 8.2 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.4 for general impression.
A big field of 17 pairs competed in the ever more popular 7-year old division which Thomas Schulze won aboard Christa Rath's Oldenburg mare Florida WN (by Florenz x Del Piero). They scored 77.334% to edge out Ellen Richter who has taken over the reins of Schulze's former ride and WCYH finalist, Beck's (by Benicio x Desperados). Richter scored 76.050% on the chestnut.
