The 5-year old Viva Las Vegas, the 6-year old Saint Lavinia, and the 7-year old Valentino Garavani became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the national show in Bielefeld-Holtkamp on 8 - 11 May 2025.
In the 5-year old division Leonie Sahm and Matthias Schlamminger's Hanoverian stallion Viva Las Vegas (by Viva Gold x Foundation) bested a field of 18 competitors with a total score of 8.42 points. The dark bay got 8.2 for walk, 8.8 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 8.1 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Kira Soddemann and Delsmann's Westfalian mare Viva Fantastica (by Viva Gold x Borsalino) were second with 8.36 points. The bay mare got 7.8 for walk, 8.8 for trot, 7.5 for canter, 8.2 for submission and 8.5 for general impression
In the 6-year old class at M-level, fourteen combinations competed and Nicole Wego won on Hof Kasselmann's Oldenburg mare Saint Lavinia (by Vitalis x Sandro Hit) with 8.34 points. The bay mare got 8.3 for walk, 8 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 8.4 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Swedish Lydia Jordan and Hof Kasselmann's Zuccador QD (by Zenon x Lauries Crusador xx) were the runners-up with 8.22 points. He got 8.5 for walk, 8.2 for trot, 7.8 for canter, and 8.3 for submission and general impression.
Thirteen pairs competed in the 7-year old division but no less than three retired from the test. Anne Koch and her own Hanoverian gelding Valentino Garavani (by Vitalis x Spörcken) topped the board with a score of 76?285%. Kira Wulferding and Friederike Rehkamp's Oldenburg stallion Infantino (by Ibiza x Sandro Hit) were second with 75.173%.
