The FEI Board has allocated the 2027 European Dressage and Para Dressage Championships to the city of Randbøl in Denmark.

The venue for the Championships will be the Randbøl Dressage Academy, previously known as Blue Hors stud owned by the Lego family Kirk Kristiansen. They turned the land of Korshøjgaard farm into a state-of-the art equestrian center.

Initially the Belgian city of Waregem announced with a lot of pomp and circumstance that it would be bidding for a multi-discipline Europeans including show jumping and eventing but that grand act fell through fast and in the end only the profitable show jumping discipline remained on the slate and the FEI board has allocated the 2027 European Jumping Championships to Waregem.

“The FEI Jumping European Championships in Waregem as well as the FEI Dressage and Para Dressage Championships in Randboel will be central to the FEI calendar for 2027 as the participating NFs will have the opportunity to earn quota places for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games," said FEI president Ingmar de Vos (BEL).

Randbøl will be testing its event management skills once more next week as they host the 2025 Danish Dressage Championships.
