Belle Amour CN, Price Highlight of the 2025 Westfalian Spring Auction

Belle Amour CN (by Bonds x Franziskus)

Belle Amour CN became the price highlight of the 2025 Westfalian spring auction in Munster-Handorf on 6 April 2025.

Of the 45 riding horses and ponies on offer, 78 percent changed hands that afternoon. They achieved an average price of 32,243 euro.

The 4-year old Belle Amour CN (by Bonds x Franziskus) sold for the highest price, 115,000 euro. The mare was the reserve champion of the 2024 Westfalian Elite Mare Show and is bred and owned by Christa Nagelschmidt-Terwort.

The much talked about young licensed stallion Viva La Vida, who was presented in this auction under a different name (Va Va Voom), sold for 110,000 euro. The 5-year old chestnut (by Viva Gold x Rosengold) is bred by Jürgen de Baey and was owned by Gestut Gut Neuenhof, who bought him for  84,000 euro at the 2022 Westfalian Stallion Licensing auction. The Westfalian auction office reported that "a Swedish training stable from Flensburg" bought the stallion for 110K. Vera Fürst and Orn Arnasson run that barn.

Sternzauber
The 5-year old chestnut Sternzauber (by Sir Heinrich x Don Juan de Hus), bred by August Frerick and owned by Jillian Wyrobnik, was the third most expensive horse in this auction. The gelding found a new owner for 100,000 euro. 

The Oldenburg bred Enigma OLD (by Escamillo x Furst Romancier) went for 93,000 euro, while the licensed stallion Favorite Boy (by Fynch Hatton x Ibiza) had a hammer price of 48,000 euro.

Spaniards bought Disneyland (by Dimaggio Black x Don Juan de Hus) for 33,000 euro. The same price was paid for the 7-year old Dakil (by Danone x Chico's Boy). Brits bought Salsa (by Sir Donnerhall x Ferro) for 20,500 euro. A Belgian acquired Black Fashion (by Bon Coeur x Fashion Maker) for 16,500 euro.

Seventeen foals were on offer and 16 found new owners for an average price of 10,412 euro.

Diyon SE
The colt Diyon SE (by Dark Dynamic x Franziskus) sold for 14,000 euro as the most expensive dressage foal.  Colt Vjentos (by Vjento x Morricone) sold for 13,000 euro to Judith Koeppel, Velvet Dream (by Verbier x Ampere) sold for 10,000 euro, just like colt Samy Deluxe (by San to Alati x Vaderland)

Pony foal Golden Princess D (by Gold Garant x Herzkönig) sold for 19,000 euro to a client from the Rühr area.. Pony foal Cokowääh B (by Cosmo Royale II x FS Golden Moonlight) went for 11,500 euro.
