Lier will be bringing the first FEI Nations Cup leg to Belgium in May 2025, since the series' inception in 2013.
Organizer "Belgium Dressage Events," best know from the CDI Lier, has successfully applied for a CDIO.
CDIO Lier
The organizing committee includes FEI Dressage Committee member Thomas Eyckmans, Grand Prix rider Wim Verwimp, and show organizer Joyce Lebon.
They are known as the hosts of the CDI Lier indoor competition in February/March as well as the Belgian Dressage Championships. They have now added a second CDI to their plate in the shape of a CDIO.
The CDIO Lier will be held on 12 - 18 May 2025, two weeks after the 2025 CDIO Compiegne and one week before the 2025 Belgian Championships.
