Valvera Sunday became the best seller in the online auction which Helgstrand Dressage organised under the name "Breeders' Selection Online Auction". The bidding closed on 6 June 2024.
This online auction is part of Helgstrand's major stock reduction sale which started in 2023 and carries through in 2024. There were fifty-two horses in the collection in the end, even though originally more were on offer. Nine did not sell.
The ages of the horses in the collection started at two and ranged from unbroken youngsters, to recently saddle broken horses to more trained horses. A little bit of everything was on offer.
The 6-year old Valvera Sunday (by Valverde x Sezuan x Don Frederico) became the price highlight, selling for 35,000 euro to Germany.
The 5-year old Salinero (by Springbank II x Franziskus) went for 26,500 euro to an Austrian buyer. So Athletic, a 6-year old by Sezuan x Belissimo M, sold for 21,500 euro to Switzerland.
The 4-year old Joniro (by Jovian x De Niro) fetched 13,500 euro, while Igor SWB (by Iron x Don Schufro x Mowgli) went for 11,000 euro. Both remain in Denmark. A Swede bought Gammelenggards Galiano (by Grand Galaxy Winx Underworld xx) for 11,500 euro and Proud Habsburg US (by Lennox US x Sir Donnerhall) for 8,500 euro.
An Italian paid 10,000 euro for the 5-year old Dezado (by Desperado x Zack).
The majority of the collection sold for dumping prices between 3,000 and 5,000 euro.
