Yvonne Snieder

Initially owned by Hans de Kok and Petra Reijntjes, Glory Days was first trained and competed by Yvonne Snieder who rode the 2017 Pavo Cup semi-finals with him, but finished second to last in the 6-year old division.

Trained by Tonnie Huberts, they moved to ZZ-level in 2018. She trained him to FEI level.

In September 2021 the black moved in training with Emmelie Scholtens.

At their national Grand Prix debut in April 2022 they scored 70,906%. They made their international show debut shortly afterwards at the CDI Kronenberg, where they posted 60.826% in the Grand Prix and 62.043% in the Special.

They retuyrned to the international arena 1.5 year later at the 2023 CDI Leeuwarden, where they scored 67.935% in the Grand Prix (8th) and won the Kur with 72.565%. Glory Days was long-listed for Dutch Olympic team selection.

Horses.nl broke the news that Glory Days sold to Switzerland.

The new owner is 32-year old Lisa Staubli, daughter of Swiss millionaire and business investor Thomas Staubli who bought Daniel and Doris Ramseier's Swiss family yard in 2011.

Lisa and sister Mara Staubli focus on Islandic horses with their company Engjavatni, but Lisa is also passionate about dressage. For instance, in 2022 she bought Freddie Mercury (by Floriscount x Don Crusador), who had been in training with the Werndls in Aubenhausen for four years.

Scholtens is now aiming for the Olympics with Indian Rock. Her second GP horse, the 2019 European Championship team horse Desperado (by Vivaldi x Havidoff) has only been lightly competed the past two years due to injury. He did the 2023 CDI-W Amsterdam and more than a year later returned at the 2024 CDI-W 's Hertogenbosch. He's not entered for the first Dutch Olympic team selection trial at the Dutch championships this weekend.
