Danish breeding station Blue Hors stud will be closing its doors on 1 April 2024 and has announced a move in a severely slimmed down version to Stutteri ASK in Fyn.  This relocation, however, has been postponed until after the 2024 Olympic Games.

Construction at ASK has not been completed on time, so Blue Hors in its "Diet" version will continue to operate at the facility in Randbol, alongside Fisker/Obel's enterprise until August 2024.

Ridehesten interviewed Nanna Skodborg Merrald who explained that the reduced roster of five stallions will stand at stud in Randbol, but the stud cannot offer stabling to mares for insemination at Korshøjgaard (the original name of the yard where Blue Hors was built) this year.

Former Blue Hors employees, veterinarian Cecilie Ventzel Jensen and breeding advisor Lennart Lund Lindberg, established their own reproduction company Equinito and will operate in partnership with Obel/Fisker.
