The 21-year old Rhinelander stallion Fidertanz has moved to Paul Schockemöhle's stallion station in Mühlen after owner Böckmann closed the doors of its breeding center at the end of 2023.

Fidertanz is a Rhinelander stallion by Fidermark out of Reine Freude (by Ravallo x Fruhlingstraum II x Romadour II x Hartung). He is bred by Hermann Schult.

As winner of the 2004 Westfalian Stallion licensing in Münster-Handorf he was discovered by the Böckmann stallion station and initially co-owned by Bockmann and Wahler.

At the age of three, Fidertanz became reserve Bundeschampion under Maike Lührig, passed his suitability test in Neustadt/Dosse as best scoring stallion and passed his further performance test through sport.  With rider Antonio Teixeira do Vale, Fidertanz reached Grand Prix level.

From 2005 to 2008 Fidertanz was stabled at Klosterhof Medingen before he moved into a box at the Böckmann stallion station in Lastrup, which took over full ownership.

In 2021 the German Equestrian Federation reported that Fidertanz had sired 1,000 offspring registered for competition sport. His most successful offspring include Grand Prix horses Foundation, Franziskus, Fidertraum, and Fine Fellow amongst others. He was named Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2021. He has almost 60 licensed sons and well over 200 prize-winning daughters to his name.

As Böckmann decided to stop all breeding activities at his center and announced the closure of their stallion station in October. Fidertanz has now found a new home at Schockemöhle's where he will stand at stud with fresh semen.
