The year-long rumours of a sale of Gestut Peterhof in Perl-Borg, Germany, have been proven true and confirmed now as the property is officially listed with Christie's International Real Estate.
Edwin and Arlette Kohl are best known in the dressage world as the owners of former breeding stallion and triple World Champion Sezuan.

They first arose on the scene in 2007 as the buyers of Patrik Kittel's Silvano and stallion Florett As.
They drew more attention when they bought the World Young Horse Champion mare UNO Donna Unique. The mare returned in the press in 2012 when the previous owner Joan andreasen found out the horse sold for 900,000 euro more than what horse dealer Andreas Helgstrand had told her. The case became known as that of "the missing million" and was settled outside of court.
In 2014 the Kohl couple invested in Helgstrand's stallion D'Avie.
They have collaborated with dressage riders such as Dorothee Schneider, Ulla Salzgeber, Patrik Kittel, Eyal Zlatin, Sascha Schulz, and Dominic Nathanael Erhart amongst others
Gestut Peterhof
The Kohl couple's Gestut Peterhof was built in 2011 and is a state of the art facility with an unparalleled eye for detail and style. It is located on 30 hectares of land on the Luxembourg border and has room for 40 horses.
Edwin Kohl is ceo of the pharmaceutical company Kohlpharma in Merzig, Germany, which imports and sells medicine. Arlette is a dedicated rider herself and founder of VA-Tout interior design studio.
Peterhof was the German training camp for the 2014 World Equestrian Games. It also hosted four CDI's between 2012 and 2015.
The property is now listed for sale, but the price is on request.
