The new Gestüt M.K. Ammerland of Maik Kanitzky starts the current breeding season with three top dressage stallions: the Bundeschampion Segantini, the Westphalian Licensing Reserve Champion Excalibur and the Bundeschampionat-successful Virazzo.

The beautiful Secret son Segantini, whose dam is a full sister to the licensed and Grand Prix-winning First Step, was awarded the premium at the Hanoverian licensing in Verden in 2020. In 2021 he clearly won his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf with a score of 9.03. This was followed by winning silver at the Hanoverian Championships under Jessica Lynn Thomas/SWE. Afterwards, the dark bay stallion advanced to Bundeschampion of four-year-old stallions. The Hanoverian Association awarded this four-legged model student the coveted Weltmeyer Prize.

Recently, Segantini qualified once again for the Bundeschampionat for young dressage horses. From his first foal crop, a colt of him was the top priced foal at the Verden Elite Auction.

Excalibur left the Westphalian licensing as the celebrated Reserve Champion. The sire of this incredibly black-brown stallion is the Vice-Dressage Horse World Champion Escamillo. The dam is sister to the licensed Vice Bundeschampion Despacito.

Nicole Beinlich, head rider at Gestüt M.K. Ammerland, will gently prepare Excalibur for his first sport and championship competitions according to his outstanding quality.

Third in the group is the Vivaldi son Virazzo, who on his mother's side goes back to the direct line of Florestan I, who is so important for breeding. In 2021, the extremely typey black stallion was in the Bundeschampionat Final for five-year-olds under Jana Schrödter. In 2022, under the riding master and two-time Olympic champion Dorothee Schneider, he once again secured his ticket to Warendorf with an undisputed medium (M) level dressage horse victory.

At the request of many breeders, Virazzo will be used for breeding for the first time in 2023.

Segantini, Excalibur and Virazzo are available to breeders through Martin Determann's stallion farm in Vechta, which is known for its breeder-friendly service.
