Four dressage bred stallions were accepted for breeding at the 2023 Hanoverian stallion approval held on 4 April 2023. The stallions are already licensed in other studbooks but sought Hanoverian approval.

Nine stallions between the ages of 3 and 7 were entered for this approval, eight were presented and four dressage bred ones were approved.

The 1.76 m standing Swedish warmblood bred and registered Skyline to B (by St. Schufro x Ampere x Sir Schölling), who is not approved for Swedish warmblood, has tried his breeding luck - successfully - in Germany (Oldenburg, DSP, Westfalia) and is now also accepted for Hanover. He is bred by Maria Rasmussen, owned by Carl Hedin, and stationed in Lodbergen.

The reserve licensing champion from Westfalia, Valparaiso (by Viva Gold x Fidermark x Davignon), bred by Rebekka Aicher and owned by the state stud Celle got accepted as well as the nameless Da Costa x Fürst Belissaro x Rotspon, bred and owned by Lüder Kopke.

The fourth dressage stallion that got the green light was Top Shelf (by Top Gear x Sandro King x Caprilli), bred by Günther Kolb and owned by the Danish duo Thomsen & Stadelhofer.

Martin Determann's Virazzo (by Vivaldi x Ragazzo) was not accepted and neither was Bernd Nöthen's 4-year old Secret x Belussimo M x Davignon.
